Netflix has unveiled the official trailer, poster, and first images of Sicilia Express, the highly anticipated new miniseries written, directed, and starring the beloved Sicilian comedy duo Ficarra & Picone. The five-episode Christmas comedy will premiere worldwide on December 5, exclusively on Netflix.
Set between Milan and Sicily, Sicilia Express follows Salvo and Valentino, two Sicilian nurses who juggle their demanding work lives in the North with their family ties in the South. Just a few days before Christmas, an extraordinary event changes everything: they stumble upon a magical portal, a discovery that will turn their world upside down — though not necessarily for the better.
The ensemble cast features Katia Follesa, Barbara Tabita, Max Tortora, Sergio Vastano, Enrico Bertolino, Adelaide Massari, and Angelo Tosto, with a special appearance by Giorgio Tirabassi.
