The news follows the announcement earlier in October, that "My Mum, Your Dad" has been recommissioned for a second season in Brazil by Globoplay, following a successful first run. The format, originally created by Greg and Haley Daniels and produced by ITV Entertainment and Robola Entertainment for HBO Max in the US, has also been remade locally in the UK (ITV), Australia (Nine Network), Belgium (RTL-TVI), Germany (Vox), France (TF1), French Canada (TVA), New Zealand (TV3), Poland (Polsat) and Sweden (TV4).
"My Mum, Your Dad" is known for winning hearts wherever it airs – the UK version was ITV1’s biggest new peak-time entertainment format when it launched in 2023 and the second most streamed show in its launch month on ITVX, and the French-Canadian version secured the highest share in its primetime slot.
