La Porta Magica Returns to Rai 2 with Season Two: Real People, Real Transformations
The heartwarming program La Porta Magica returns for a second season, starting Monday, September 29 at 5:00 PM on Rai 2. Hosted once again by the charismatic Andrea Delogu, the show puts everyday people at the center of a deeply personal journey—a journey toward the change they’ve long desired but never dared to pursue.

In each episode, Andrea guides her guests through a process of personal transformation, helping them to confront the past, embrace the present, and take brave steps toward the future. Alongside her is a team of trusted “Angels,” experts who support each story with empathy, skill, and creativity.

The premiere episode on Monday, September 29 features Florinda and Antonia, two extraordinary women whose lives are a testament to the power of dreams—no matter your age. At 19, Florinda was selected as a Rai announcer, but her mother prevented her from pursuing the opportunity. Today, at 90, she’s ready to reclaim that dream. Antonia, a former nurse, began running marathons at 70. Now 80, she dreams of dancing the rumba with professional dancer Simone Di Pasquale.

Tuesday, September 30, tells a touching story of love delayed but never forgotten. Fabiola wants to give her grandparents, Rocco and Maria Vittoria, the wedding ceremony they never had. Married in haste without family support, they never celebrated their union—until now. The episode also features Emanuela Corti, a nurse and mother who has faced numerous hardships and now dreams of rediscovering herself through a complete makeover.

On Wednesday, October 1, viewers will meet Sonia, a former dance champion who stopped dancing after a personal crisis. She now wants to get back in shape and find her way back to the stage. In the same episode, Don Nicolino, a Passionist priest, will share the moving story of his lost love, Domenichina, whom he was set to marry before tragedy struck. His story is one of deep faith, memory, and the enduring power of love.

Thursday, October 2, introduces Zenedia, a resilient woman who has faced tremendous adversity and now seeks the look she’s always dreamed of but never allowed herself to have. Also featured is Sonia, a beloved TV personality from the 1990s and early 2000s, who brought joy to children across Rome and Lazio. Her wish is to say a heartfelt goodbye to her former audience.

The week concludes on Friday, October 3, with two emotional stories of rebirth through pain. Carmela, having endured a year of loss and illness in 2025, seeks to rediscover color and joy in her life. Meanwhile, Nazzareno, a widower after 50 years of marriage, has found solace in dancing. At La Porta Magica, he’ll meet three women who may just become his new companions on the dance floor—and in life.

La Porta Magica is a format distributed by Small World IFT and created by J.D. Roth, the executive producer behind the international hit The Biggest Loser. The Italian adaptation is produced by Rai’s Daytime Entertainment Division in collaboration with CastaDiva.
