For the first time in Spain, South Korea will take center stage at Iberseries & Platino Industria as Country in Focus, thanks to a groundbreaking alliance with the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA). The initiative will feature a dedicated program highlighting innovation and the international projection of the Korean audiovisual industry, with a strong delegation of producers and executives joining the event in Madrid. The agenda will include pitching sessions, keynotes, showcases, and networking activities.

KOCCA, under South Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, plays a leading role in the internationalization of creative industries, including video games, music, animation, fashion, and audiovisual content. With a global network of 25 offices, KOCCA has recently strengthened its presence in Europe by opening a new office in Spain in 2024 at the Korean Cultural Center in Madrid. This move reflects its strategy to deepen cultural ties and foster business alliances across the region.
The agreement with Iberseries & Platino Industria represents a decisive step in positioning KOCCA as a key driver of international cooperation and consolidates the Madrid-based event as a premier showcase for Ibero-American audiovisual content on the global stage.
