Mediatoon Distribution will handle the international sales of the Ankama upcoming kids animated show Montclair & The Mechanical Mysteries, currently in production and expected to be fully delivered in Spring 2026. Commissioned by France Télévisions, the adventure/fantasy series counts 26 episodes of 22 minutes each, and targets children aged 6 to 9.
Coproduced by Pictanovo and Belvision, sister company of Mediatoon, the show is already presold to TV5Monde and follows Montclair, a young inventor brimming with ideas. Each episode throws him into a new challenge against Hector de la Tour, a clumsy villain determined to conquer the world with his maleficent machine. Joining Montclair on his quest are Abigail, a ghost escaped from a Scottish castle, along with Lison and Emile, the intrepid neighbors. With their missions unfolding across Paris’s most iconic landmarks, including the Eiffel Tower and Montmartre, the eclectic group embarks on a series of fantastic adventures, blending creative flair and teamwork to always save the day.
Montclair & The Mechanical Mysteries is adapted from the 16 volumes of the French book collection Les Aventures Fantastiques de Sacré-Cœur, and expands this rich universe, introducing new antagonists, settings, and intriguing plots.
Morgann Favennec, Deputy Manager of Mediatoon Distribution, says: “We couldn’t be more excited about Ankama’s latest top-tier production! Every new visual and script reveals a Paris full
