On Tuesday, July 15th, Italia 1 premieres Max Working – Lavori in Corso, a new prime-time comedy show that sends beloved stand-up comedian Max Angioni into the real world of work — one job (or two) at a time. Mixing hands-on labor with sharp observational humor, the series offers a fresh, lighthearted take on the daily grind across some of Italy’s most iconic and unexpected professions.
In each episode, Angioni takes on two different roles, diving headfirst into each as an apprentice, intern, or assistant. While he approaches the tasks with dedication, it’s his signature irony and self-deprecating wit that turn each workplace experience into comedy gold. But the storytelling doesn’t stop on the job site — Angioni returns to the stage of Teatro Civico Roberto De Silva in Rho to recount his escapades. There, he interacts with his temporary bosses, trading banter and reflections on his brief yet colorful career attempts.
The jobs Angioni tackles span a wide and eclectic range:Jack-of-all-trades at Adriano Panatta Racquet Club, founded by tennis legend Adriano Panatta. Art dealer for Roberta Tagliavini at her renowned Milan gallery Robertaebasta.
