Format

Following the strong success of last year’s early evening run, the Italian version of Wheel of Fortune — La Ruota della Fortuna — returns with a new prime time slot on Canale 5 starting Monday, July 14, hosted by the beloved Gerry Scotti.

Once again joining Scotti is Samira Lui, who will oversee the iconic puzzle board while sharing curiosities and fun facts related to the game's topics. The show features a brand new, spectacular studio designed to accommodate a large live audience. Central to the game remain the legendary wheel with its 24 colorful segments and the puzzle board hiding the phrases that three contestants must guess round after round.

Several new elements have been added to refresh and energize the classic format:
A live band will accompany the musical rounds and highlight key moments of the game.
Classic challenges like “Mistero” and “Express” make a return, alongside the debut of a new segment, “La Ruota del Tempo”, which tests contestants on historical events.
The final round gets a complete makeover: the day's champion will face the “Ruota delle Meraviglie”, where they must solve not one, but three phrases in 60 seconds, with the chance to win up to €200,000.
