Benjamin Lepetit – VP Content at Mediawan Rights, led by Valérie Vleeschhouwer
He will be responsible for strengthening the Group’s acquisition strategy and supporting the development of its catalogue, while accelerating pre-sales and co-productions, in a context of strong growth and internationalisation. A graduate of Grenoble École de Management and the University of Florida, Benjamin Lepetit has acquired solid experience in content acquisition and distribution, notably at Federation Studios (Head of Acquisitions), Gaumont (Head of TV Distribution), as well as in film and documentary at SND, Foresight (Los Angeles), One Planet and Lukarn.
Mediawan Rights has also chosen to rely on the expertise of LEONINE Studios’ sales teams for the German-speaking territories (Germany, Austria, Switzerland): Christiane Goldberg, Senior Vice President License Sales; Marc Arndt, Vice President Digital Distribution & Marketing; and Steve Blank, Senior License Sales Manager. Following the business combination of LEONINE Studios and Mediawan, LEONINEs TV world sales activities have been incorporated into Mediawan Rights.

She will be responsible for the commercial development and pre-financing of TV and digital content for Mediawan Kids & Family and will work with all of the group’s animation studios to finance series, innovate in business models, and lead commercial teams, with the aim of strengthening the catalogue’s presence across all screens internationally. A recognised specialist in children’s content, she has contributed to the revival of iconic franchises such as Barbapapa and Hello Kitty, as well as to the international success of Oscar & Malika, following experience at Watch Next Media, Normaal Animation, francetv Distribution and Mediatoon.
