Starting Monday, September 2, La Ruota della Fortuna returns to Canale 5 with a new edition hosted by Gerry Scotti. The popular game show, which enjoyed great success during the special May edition celebrating the centenary of Mike Bongiorno's birth, will air daily at 6:45 PM.

This new edition will retain the classic format of the program, where contestants must guess hidden phrases on the board by revealing letters, guided by the famous commands "Gira la ruota" (Spin the Wheel) and "Compro una vocale" (Buy a Vowel). The game will be enhanced with some new features, including the "Jolly Gerry," an advantage that contestants can use to avoid elimination in the first three rounds, and new themes for the quick rounds that will take the audience on virtual journeys through time and space.

Samira Lui will return alongside Scotti to manage the letter board and provide insights on the topics covered.

The contestant with the highest prize money will have the chance to spin the final wheel, where they can win a car. The show, produced by RTI in collaboration with Endemol Shine Italy, is based on the "Wheel of Fortune" format, distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.
