BAFTA award-winning Celebrity Race Across the World Returns on BBC One
BAFTA award-winning Celebrity Race Across the World from producers Studio Lambert, returns for a highly anticipated second series at 9pm on Wednesday 14th August on BBC One and iPlayer, it was announced today.

The four new famous faces embarking on an epic 12,500 km race of a lifetime are: broadcaster Jeff Brazier and his son, Freddy; actor Kola Bokinni and his cousin, Mary Ellen; broadcaster Kelly Brook and her husband, Jeremy and Radio 2 host Scott Mills and his husband (then fiancé), Sam.

Their journey begins in Belém, Northern Brazil - the gateway to the Amazon - and will pass through five checkpoints across the length of South America, to reach the finish line in the Andes, Frutillar in Southern Chile.

Celebrity Race Across The World
is a 6x60' series for BBC One and iPlayer and is made by Studio Lambert, one of the companies in the All3Media group. It was commissioned by Catherine Catton, Head of Commissioning, Factual Entertainment and Events. The BBC Commissioning Editors and executive producers for the BBC are Michael Jochnowitz and Jasmyn McGuile. Rob Fisher, Charlotte Woolley, Louise Bartmann, Emma Peach and Tim Harcourt are the executive producers, and Sophie Beck is production executive for Studio Lambert.
