Conecta Fiction & Entertainment announced that Michèle Benzeno, General Manager and member of the Webedia Comex, will be honored with the 2024 Honor Award, which is dedicated this year to the Future of Entertainment (Future of Entertainment Award). This recognition celebrates her outstanding career and her pioneering role in digital entertainment, as well as her commitment to making an impact on governance, promoting gender diversity, and enhancing youth employability through technology.

With over two decades of expertise as a leader in digital transformation and marketing, Michèle Benzeno has played a pivotal role in structuring and advancing new B2B business models to propel both internal and external growth of the Webedia Group, driving its diversification in France and internationally. A graduate of the University of Paris | Panthéon Sorbonne with a Master's in Marketing and Strategies from Dauphine, Benzeno has left an indelible mark on the entertainment industry since her inception in 1994 at the Figaro Group, continuing through tenures at Vivendi Group, Groupe l'Express/Roularta, Yahoo! France, M6, and currently as CEO of Webedia. In her current capacity, she oversees all group revenues and activities, including content, influencers, social networks, data, programming, events, and sports. Her exceptional contributions and innovative vision make her truly deserving of the "2024 Honor Award - Future of Entertainment."

Conecta Keynotes Preview:
The event will feature distinguished international speakers, including Kai Finke, Chief Content Officer of SkyShowtime, who will deliver a keynote sharing insights from his extensive experience in the entertainment industry. Finke, responsible for leading the programming team at SkyShowtime, ensures the delivery of high-quality entertainment, including SkyShowtime Originals and acquisitions.

Phillipe Carrasco, Head of Film and TV, Content Partnerships at YouTube Brazil, will discuss YouTube's role as an audience amplifier and its solutions to current TV challenges, new generations, and consumption models. Drawing from his rich experience negotiating with artists, celebrities, and content producers, Carrasco will illustrate his points with compelling case studies.

Mariano Cesar, SVP of General Entertainment Content and Programming Strategy at Warner Bros. Discovery, Latin America, and US Hispanic, will present a keynote focused on scripted content. With oversight of content and production teams across a vast portfolio of general entertainment brands in the region, Cesar will delve into development, production, acquisition, and programming for the Max streaming platform and leading Pay TV channels.
