Banijay is thrilled to announce a groundbreaking global development partnership with esteemed Dutch creator and producer, Marc Pos, operating under his independent label, MPLab. This collaboration marks a strategic move to enhance Banijay’s already impressive content creation endeavors, focusing on the innovation and expansion of its extensive portfolio, boasting an impressive 185,000 hours of content.

Renowned for his award-winning work on The Traitors (All3Media International), which recently clinched the coveted Format of the Year award from K7, Marc Pos stands as a celebrated creative force in the industry. With a diverse career spanning television, video, theater, events, and advertising, Pos has garnered international acclaim as both a producer and director, earning accolades from prestigious institutions such as the New York Festivals TV & Film Awards, the Emmys, BAFTAs, the Dutch Gouden Televizier-Rings, Dutch Directors Guild Awards, and numerous others. Operating his own label, POSVIDEO, since 2015, Pos has cultivated a reputation for excellence, highlighted by notable collaborations with IDTV (an All3Media company).

Under the umbrella of MPLab, an expanding collective of esteemed creatives, including renowned format developer Kirsten Jan van Nieuwenhuijzen, Banijay’s Chief Content Officer of Development, James Townley, will collaborate with Pos to conceive original non-scripted formats with broad international appeal. As part of this partnership, all intellectual property rights will be vested in Banijay, empowering its vast network of production labels and distribution arm, Banijay Rights, to leverage the newly created content.

Pos's illustrious career extends beyond television, encompassing notable projects such as directing the inaugural season of Big Brother in the Netherlands, curating events like Prinsengrachtconcert, Maestro, and Popsecret concerts featuring renowned artists like Robbie Williams and Alicia Keys. He has also left an indelible mark through his work on the Eurovision Song Contest in 2021 and his endeavors in advertising with Brand New Telly and event production with Kingcanary. Noteworthy achievements outside the realm of television include the award-winning Nike campaign, Nike Panna Knockout, and the theatrical production Resilience, which premiered in 2023.

Aligned in entrepreneurial spirit, Pos joins forces with Banijay’s dynamic team to contribute to the company's rich pipeline of innovative content. Together, they aim to build on Banijay's legacy, which has recently seen the emergence of hit titles like The Summit (EndemolShine Australia), Shaolin Heroes (Metronome), The Fifty (Banijay Productions France), and Deal or No Deal Island (EndemolShine North America).
