Something Special and AR Asia Productions have been chosen by the Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA) to lead the LEAP Creative Lab project. This initiative is designed to enhance the creative abilities of Taiwanese producers through immersive learning experiences and collaborative development opportunities.
Named LEAP, this year-long project will be overseen by Something Special and AR Asia Productions, with activities spanning the entirety of 2024. LEAP consists of two main components: a Master Class in Taipei and a Creative Development Workshop in Seoul.
The Master Class in Taipei is scheduled for the second week of April, from the 10th to the 12th, offering an extensive three-day program. A handpicked group of 50 producers and companies have been selected to participate in this exclusive event. Esteemed instructors from South Korea will converge in Taiwan to provide invaluable insights on creating unscripted shows and enhancing their global appeal.
Following the Master Class, the Creative Workshop will take place in the latter part of 2024. From the initial cohort of 50 participants, eight outstanding companies will be chosen for intensive mentoring by Korean professionals. Together, they will collaboratively develop new unscripted intellectual properties, fostering innovation and cross-cultural exchange within the content creation landscape.
